KIPCOR Film Series: Focus on Immigration

On Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3 p.m., KIPCOR begins its 2018-2019 film series with a screening of two short films about immigration: “Locked in a Box” and “To Breathe Free”

These award-winning documentaries offer a modern take on the Syrian refugee crisis and the massive expansion of immigration detention centers in the U.S. A local expert from the International Rescue Committee in Wichita, and a local immigration attorney, will be on hand to answer your questions and lead the post-film discussion
