The Empathy Gap – KIPCOR Film Series

On Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3 p.m., KIPCOR continues its film series with a screening of “The Empathy Gap.” The Empathy Gap investigates the reasons why so many men have difficulties viewing women as authentic equals, explaining how men are trained by a variety of sources to sexually objectify women and thereby to diminish the importance and value of women, as well as how men might change for the better.

The post-film discussion will be led by:
Stacey Mann, Educator for WSU’s School of Social Work & Director of the Batterer Intervention Program at Offender/Victim Ministries, and
Ben Kreider, Director of Prison Ministries at Offender/Victim Ministries
