DESCRIPTION:Join us in an online offering of KIPCOR’s annual film series!!\nOn Sunday\, September 13\, 2020 at 2:00 PM we will be hosting a ZOOM call featuring the film by the group Teaching Tolerance: “Selma:  The Bridge to the Ballot”. \nThis film tells the story of a courageous group of Alabama students and teachers who fought nonviolently against a century of Jim Crow in a segregationist state to win voting rights for African Americans.  These change-makers overcame violence\, arrest\, and even murder to achieve one of the most significant victories of the civil rights era. \nYou’ll need to register online BEFORE 5:00 PM on Friday\, September 11 to get the Zoom link for the film.  If you watch the film and discussion on a computer\, the link is all you need; if you watch from a smart phone\, you’ll need to load zoom (from Zoom.us) before the call begins. \n  \nRegister Here \n  \nSince we’re not meeting in person we can’t pass the hat and ask for donations to help support KIPCOR\, but in these difficult times we need your help more than ever.  You can still support KIPCOR by mailing a check (made out to KIPCOR) to KIPCOR\, P.O.
