Please register for the Summer or Fall session. \nHOPE consists of five interactive\, skill-building\, educational classes designed to reduce the negative impact of divorce or separation conflict on children by helping parents learn healthy habits for more positive co-parenting. \n* Understand your child’s right and need to love both parents \n* Focus on your child’s needs instead of your own desires \n* Recognize relationship transitions \n* Develop effective communication skills \n* Minimize conflict & manage emotions \n* Create healthier boundaries while building trust & respect \nThis class consists of five sessions:  March 4 and 18 and April 1\, 15\, and 29\, 2019.  One must attend ALL FIVE SESSIONS to complete the program.

DESCRIPTION:This specialized training will help you qualify to serve as a case manager or limited case manager in Kansas domestic cases involving custody and parenting disputes.  Topics include: \n\nDomestic Case Management statutes\, Supreme Court & local court rules\, appellate cases;\nFamily dynamics in separation/divorce\, including high conflict personalities;\nAssessing for and creating parenting plans in the face of domestic violence and abuse;\nSubstantiating and writing recommendations and reports for courts;\nBest practices\, protocols\, and procedures for establishing your practice;\nCase studies; and\nEthics.\n\nWho should attend:  Domestic attorneys & attorney-mediators\, and licensed mental health professionals/mediators (masters level and above) as set out in KSA §23-3508(d). \nThis class has been approved for 16 hours of CMEs\, CLEs\, and Social Work CEUs. \nRegister Now
